Duke 125/200/250/390, RC 125/200/390 & Adventure 250/390 — liquid-cooled bikes serviced with care at Charkop Sector 8.
KTM bikes are built for performance — high-revving, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engines with sharp brakes and sporty suspension. That performance comes with a simple rule: they need regular, correct maintenance. A KTM that misses its oil change or runs a dry chain will tell you quickly.
Mumbai traffic is hard on KTMs. Long idling at the Mith Chowky and Link Road signals heats the engine and works the radiator fan hard. Our service focuses on exactly the things that matter for city KTMs: oil, coolant, chain and brakes.
| Model | Type | Work we commonly do |
|---|---|---|
| Duke 125 / 200 | Naked, liquid-cooled | Oil and filter, coolant, chain, brake pads, fan circuit |
| Duke 250 / 390 | Naked, liquid-cooled | Oil and filters, coolant flush, chain kit, brakes, electronics checks |
| RC 125 / 200 / 390 | Faired sport | Fairing removal for service access, coolant, chain, brakes |
| Adventure 250 / 390 | Adventure | Oil, chain, suspension check, tyres, brakes |
Low or old coolant, a dirty radiator or a fan not switching on. We test the fan circuit and service the cooling system.
High torque and monsoon grime wear KTM chains fast. Clean-and-lube every few hundred km makes a big difference.
Old oil, a dirty air filter or a weak battery can cause rough running on fuel-injected KTMs.
Worn pads or old brake fluid. We inspect pads and fluid condition.
KTM service at our workshop includes engine oil and oil filter as per schedule, air filter, coolant level and condition, chain clean-lube-adjust, front and rear brake pads and fluid check, battery and charging, radiator fan operation, lights and switches, and a test ride. On RC models we remove side fairings as needed for proper access.
See our full bike repair and scooty repair pages for prices and timing.
All KTM street models run tubeless tyres. We repair most nail punctures with a plug, and we'll tell you honestly if the puncture is in the sidewall or too large to repair safely for a performance bike. More on our puncture repair service in Kandivali.
KTMs depend on battery voltage for fuel injection, ABS and the dashboard. If your Duke cranks slowly or shows warnings at start, get a free battery test. We fit correctly specified branded batteries. See bike battery replacement in Kandivali.
Owner tip: let a KTM idle for 30–60 seconds after a cold start before riding off, and avoid long idling in hot traffic — switch off at long signals if it is safe to do so.

Yes. We service RC 125, RC 200 and RC 390, including fairing removal for access, coolant and chain work.
Common causes are low or old coolant, a radiator blocked by dirt or a fan that isn't switching on. We check all three during service.
In Mumbai conditions, every few hundred kilometres and after every ride in heavy rain is a good habit. We clean and lube the chain at every service.
