Several modern Yamahas — the R15, MT-15 and Aerox — are liquid-cooled with variable valve actuation, and the Fascino and RayZR 125 use a hybrid-assist starter-generator. These need a mechanic who understands them rather than treating them like an old carb bike. That's the kind of care we give at our Charkop workshop.

Low coolant, old coolant or a radiator choked with road dirt. We flush, refill and check the fan.
A dirty throttle body or air filter often causes hesitation. Cleaning usually fixes it.
Sporty riding and monsoon water wear chains faster. Regular cleaning and lubing extends chain life.
The hybrid starter system depends on a healthy battery. We test the battery and charging first.
Dust and glazed pads cause squeal. Caliper cleaning or new pads solve it.
Yamaha service at our workshop covers engine oil and oil filter as per model, air filter, spark plug, throttle body cleaning when needed, coolant level (or flush when due) on liquid-cooled models, chain clean-lube-adjust, disc brake pad inspection, battery and charging check, lights and switches, and a test ride. On Fascino and RayZR we inspect the CVT belt, rollers and clutch.

Almost every current Yamaha runs tubeless tyres, so most punctures are fixed with a plug in about 10–15 minutes. For R15 and MT-15 riders, we'll check that the tyre is safe for higher speeds after repair and tell you straight if it should be replaced instead. More on our puncture repair service in Kandivali.
Yamaha's fuel-injected bikes and hybrid scooters are sensitive to low battery voltage — weak batteries can cause hard starting or warning lights. We test for free and replace with a correctly specified branded battery. See bike battery replacement in Kandivali.
Owner tip: use the coolant type recommended by Yamaha and never top up an R15 or MT-15 with plain tap water — it can cause corrosion over time.
