Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350, Meteor 350, Himalayan, Interceptor & Continental GT — serviced by mechanics who ride and know Enfields.
A Royal Enfield is not just transport — for most owners it's a passion. Weekend rides out of Borivali towards the highway, trips to Lonavala, or simply the thump on Link Road in the evening. The bike deserves a mechanic who treats it that way.
We work on both generations: the older UCE engines (where tappet setting and oil leaks are common topics) and the newer J-platform 350s like the Classic, Hunter and Meteor, which are smoother but still need regular oil, chain and brake care. Heavier bikes also need their tyres and brakes checked more seriously — and that's part of every Enfield service we do.
| Model | Type | Work we commonly do |
|---|---|---|
| Classic 350 / Bullet 350 (new J-platform) | 350cc | Oil and filter, chain, clutch, brakes, electrical, tripper and switchgear |
| Classic / Bullet / Thunderbird (older UCE) | 350/500cc | Tappet adjustment, oil leak repair, clutch, carburettor or FI, wiring |
| Hunter 350 / Meteor 350 | 350cc | Oil service, chain kit, brake pads, battery |
| Himalayan / Himalayan 450 | Adventure | Oil, chain, spoke wheels, suspension check, brakes |
| Interceptor 650 / Continental GT 650 | Twin cylinder | Oil and filter, chain, brakes, electrical, battery |
A ticking sound from the head usually means the tappets need setting. We adjust them to spec with the engine cold.
Common spots are the rocker cover, push-rod tubes and gaskets. We find the source rather than just wiping it clean.
A dry or frayed cable or poor routing. Lubing or replacing the cable makes city riding easier.
Aux lights and USB chargers added without a relay can drain the battery. We check and correct the wiring.
Loose mounts, wheel balance or chain tension. We check them one by one on the test ride.
Our Royal Enfield service includes engine oil and oil filter change as per schedule, air filter, spark plug, tappet check on older models, chain clean-lube-adjust, clutch and throttle cables, front and rear brakes, battery and charging, lights and switchgear, all fasteners, and a road test. Because Enfields are heavy, we pay extra attention to tyre condition and brake pad wear.
See our full bike repair and scooty repair pages for prices and timing.
Hunter 350, Meteor 350 and alloy-wheel Classics run tubeless tyres, which we plug quickly. Spoke-wheel Bullets, Classics and Himalayans usually run tubes, which means removing the wheel — on a heavy Enfield this takes a little longer, but we have the stands and tools to do it safely. More on our puncture repair service in Kandivali.
Royal Enfields use a larger battery than commuter bikes, and the newer ones depend on it for fuel injection and electronics. If your bike cranks slowly or the console flickers on starting, get a free battery test. We fit correctly rated branded batteries with warranty. See bike battery replacement in Kandivali.
Owner tip: check your Enfield's engine oil level on the dipstick (or window) every couple of weeks — big singles can consume a little oil, and running low is the fastest way to damage the engine.
