Jupiter, Ntorq 125, Apache RTR 160/200, Raider 125, Radeon, Star City+, Sport & XL100 — all repaired at Charkop Sector 8.
TVS has a loyal following in our area. The Jupiter is a favourite of families who want a comfortable scooter with a big seat, the Ntorq is popular with college students around Kandivali, and the Apache is the bike of choice for riders who want a bit more performance on Link Road.
Then there is the TVS XL100 — the moped that keeps local business running. Shop owners and delivery people around Charkop Market, Lalji Pada and Mith Chowky load it with gas cylinders, grocery sacks and goods for other shops. Heavy loads wear out the clutch, chain, rear tyre and brakes faster, and we prioritise these repairs because we know a stopped XL means a stopped business.
| Model | Type | Work we commonly do |
|---|---|---|
| Jupiter / Jupiter 125 | Family scooter | CVT belt and rollers, clutch shoe, brakes, ET-Fi tuning, battery |
| Ntorq 125 | Sporty scooter | CVT service, disc brake pads, electrical and console faults, tyres |
| Apache RTR 160 / 160 4V / 200 4V | Sport commuter | Disc pads, chain kit, clutch, FI cleaning, oil change |
| Raider 125 / Radeon / Star City+ / Sport | Commuter | General service, chain, clutch plates, wiring |
| XL100 | Moped (heavy load) | Clutch, chain, rear tyre, brakes, carb/FI tuning, stand and frame checks |
Often from the CVT area — rollers, clutch bell or a loose cover. We open and inspect before quoting.
A slipping clutch or tight brakes make the XL feel weak under load. We service the clutch and set brakes correctly.
Worn or glazed disc pads, or dust build-up. We clean the caliper and replace pads if needed.
Usually a loose connector or weak battery. We check the wiring harness and charging.
Air filter, chain tension and tyre pressure are the usual suspects — all covered in our service.
Our TVS service includes engine oil change, air filter cleaning, spark plug check, CVT inspection on scooters, chain care on motorcycles and the XL100, brake and cable adjustment, battery and charging check, all lights and horn, tyre pressure, and a road test. For XL100 owners who carry heavy loads, we also check the rear tyre, wheel bearings and stand springs.
See our full bike repair and scooty repair pages for prices and timing.
Jupiter, Ntorq and Apache mostly run tubeless tyres, plugged in around 10–15 minutes. The XL100 and some older commuters use tube tyres. For shopkeepers whose XL is needed back fast, call us first — we'll tell you when to bring it so it's attended to immediately. More on our puncture repair service in Kandivali.
TVS scooters and bikes with electric start use a 12V maintenance-free battery. A slow, weak crank in the morning is the first warning sign. We test for free and replace with a branded battery with warranty and exchange. See bike battery replacement in Kandivali.
Owner tip for XL100 users: keep the rear tyre pressure on the higher side of the recommended range if you carry heavy loads daily — it reduces tyre wear and punctures from potholes.
